Last year , my friend told that this band is awesome… Alltough we are.. old league metal fans, aged over 55. We found that the band is something fresh and new thinking about metal. AND it's from FINLAND as we. We only wait to see the band live.

There's so much sincerity in the melancholy here, interspersed with brief hints of passing hope. It's a very introspective album that I'm sure will keep me company for many years to come.

Blackbraid quickly followed up their 2022 debut in 2023 with more native folk infused furious black metal. This is by no means a sophomore slump as it is equally excellent, methodical, melodical, and approachable as the first record. 9/10
